The Burnie 3 mineral occurrence is identified in a 2012 diamond drill hole in the southern region of the northwest striking "Burnie Trend" of mineral showings. The location is on southwest facing ridge sides above Craig River, approximately 8.5 kilometres south of the Bronson Airstrip on Iskut River.

In 2012 Snip Gold Corp. drilled five holes along the Burnie Trend, DDH SG12-22 being the most southerly. The 220 metre drill hole intersected interbedded sequences of mudstone (argillite) and siltstone exhibiting widespread shearing and deformation features and up to 15 per cent sulphide mineralization comprised predominantly of pyrrhotite plus or minus pyrite. The best intersection was 4.5 metres assaying 0.394 gram per tonne Au and 1.3 grams per tonne Ag, from 4.0 to 8.5 metres downhole (Assessment Report 33714).

Refer to Johnny Mountain (Stonehouse) (104B 107) for details of area property work history, geology and mineralization.
